Location: Wallingford, CT • Full-time • 1st Shift
About the role
Qualified candidates will have experience in manufacturing with work order management, including transacting reports, maintaining appropriate inventory levels for production lines, and assisting with manual inventory counts.
Responsibilities
- Transact daily production reports, product transfers, and material transfers within MRP system
- Cycle count work orders to maintain accuracy
- Collect and maintain production reports
- Assist supervisors with production jobs in process
- Enter scrap from various reports
- Work directly with sales regarding new and existing orders
- Run reports through Oracle to monitor material inventories
- Utilize MRP systems to obtain, monitor, and order materials as needed
- Move about the plant to count inventory and adjust the system accordingly to maintain accuracy
- Order materials for upcoming jobs and help expedite jobs needed daily
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor, either written or verbal
Requirements
- Two- or four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- MRP experience, preferably Oracle
