Production Assistant

About the role
The Production Assistant will perform a variety of general office and accounting activities, collaborating with other company personnel to support production operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all production-related entries in SAP (ERP), including daily deliveries, pick order builds, cycle counts, and inventory transfers
- Support shipping and receiving teams by scanning packets to corporate and third-party contracts
- Create, check, and file load packets
- Assist production teams in maintaining safe, clean, and organized manufacturing areas
- Interact with drivers, office staff, and other personnel to foster a positive team environment
- Coordinate with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel
- Occasionally use hand tools and power tools
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma, trade school education, or at least two years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- At least one year of related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn ERP system functions
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10s and 100s)
- Mobility to work in both office and manufacturing environments
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Pay
Hourly pay rate: $25/hr
