About the role

Franjo Restoration (www.franjorestoration.com) is seeking a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT to manage the day-to-day operations of a self-performed workforce, coordinate with field personnel and project owners, and ensure project budgets and schedules are met.

  • Accident reporting to Production Manager
  • Field- Hiring/firing with Production Manager approval
  • Field Employee Reviews- 90 day - New Employees
  • Yearly
  • Project Acceptance
  • Scope review with Estimator/Project Manager
  • Review manhour budget
  • Review schedule
  • Oversee project documents- Job cost
  • Vendor invoices
  • Daily progress
  • Manage Subcontractors with Production Manager review
  • Equipment / tool maintenance
  • Project completion- Final walk through
  • Punchlist acknowledgement and completion
  • Certificate of satisfaction
  • Daily work schedule- Field staff schedule
  • Customer contact and update
  • Site injuries- Report to Production Manager
  • P & L bi-weekly review
  • Oversee Warehouseman

Supervisory Responsibility / Communication Skills

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Directly supervises all field employees and subcontractors attached to assigned projects
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Understands project control, sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
  • Responsible for documenting, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, code of conduct, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Maintains constant communication with all company departments affiliated with their respective projects; including, but not limited to, Project Management and Estimating
  • Responsible for verifying that all work is completed in a workmanlike manner
  • Oversees that all company field employees conduct and present themselves in a professional demeanor; including, but not limited to, presentable/proper work attire, conduct their daily activities in a professional manner
  • Provides timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups, such as Accounting, Estimating, Human Resources, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction management or relevant experience in lieu of education
  • Proficient in MS office
  • IICRC certification
  • OSHA 40 hour certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accounting and estimating software
