Production Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Process and validate production-related inventory transactions including POP transactions, production completions, and inventory moves
• Ensure transactions are timely, accurate, and aligned with actual production activity
• Own tracking and follow up of open inventory discrepancies until resolution
• Perform and support routine cycle counts and validation checks
• Aid in identifying and resolving inventory variances and root causes
• Ensure production output is accurately captured in the system
• Align system-recorded production with actual floor activity
• Support inventory & transaction reconciliation
• Investigate discrepancies between physical and system inventory
• Support reconciliation of production-related variances
• Coordinate packaging specifications including dimensions, materials, and configurations
• Facilitate packaging samples and provide accurate data to purchasing for sourcing and ordering
• Support implementation of WIP tracking and scan gun processes
• Reinforce standard work and consistent system usage
• Act as a liaison between production, accounting, and product development
• Ensure alignment between floor activity, system transactions, and reporting expectations

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; bend; stoop, crouch or crawl; kneel; talk or hear; taste or smell
• Exposed to a large warehouse environment and may experience loud volumes or high/low temperatures, based on current weather
• Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
• May be required to stand for up to 3 hours at a time
