About the role
The primary responsibility of an Assembler is to complete assembly functions identified and specified, as well as position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or reading measurements, with precision and accuracy. The Assembler should also serve as a working team member and individual contributor to the overall team's success.
Typical duties and responsibilities
- Perform routine assembly functions based on written or verbal instructions
- Read schematics and put pumps together with another team member (not a line worker role)
- Read and evaluate assembly instructions to assure proper construction of products
- Cross train to learn multiple functions in the production environment
- Adhere to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards
- Comply with Quality and Environmental Policies applicable to daily work activities
- Load and unload equipment and supplies as directed
- Clean and organize shop and other areas as required
- Ensure that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in the day-to-day activities of each and every project that they manage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Mechanical experience with power tools is a must
- Ability to use measurement tools and devices
