Production Assembler

About the Role

Wieland is hiring 3rd Shift Production Assemblers to join our team at 45 Sutton Road, Verona, VA, 24482. As a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, we provide products and services to various industries, including HVAC. Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from mechanical prints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other instructions.
• Work with raw and synthetic materials, ensuring safety and quality assurance.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test, and move components and final products.
• Use measuring and testing devices to ensure product quality and conformity to standards.
• Maintain required records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Power industrial Truck license required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a medium industrial setting with exposure to various conditions and wear PPE as required.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools, and their uses and maintenance.

Pay

Starting pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, adjusted based on experience and qualifications. 3rd Shift Differential: $1.50 per hour.

Schedule

3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 PM - 6 AM. Training Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday - Thursday.
