Production Assembler

Responsibilities

• Operates hand and power tools.
• Assists in building Mobile Surveillance Units, Cameras, and PSU’s.
• Complies with all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards.
• Absorbs and tests incoming shipments.
• Wears proper safety equipment.
• Adapts to everyday changes.
• Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Tests completed units for full functionality.
• Cleans, preps, and tests returning units for redeployment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Inventory and equipment maintenance skills required.
• Relative experience like in warehouses, machine operating, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Understanding of job safety practices.
• Working knowledge of wire types and sizes.
• Knowledge of good practice standards in using manual or electric hand tools.
• Strong verbal, problem-solving and follow-up skills with the ability to coordinate and perform several tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, and with limited resources.

Other Requirements

• Must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions described: Regular lifting and moving objects 10-50 lbs.
• Eyesight sufficient to read, write and operate equipment essential to this position.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to maintain concentration, visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, move and respond.
• Must be capable of using or learning to use power tools and lifts properly.
