A Day in The Life of a Production Assembler
- Assemble and calibrate fabricated parts, or units to meet product specifications.
- Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair them as necessary.
- Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
- Inspect and test work for quality.
- Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
- Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
- Stage job materials for production according to procedure.

Education & Experience
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of job-related experience preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Compensation Details
- $19.13 - $22.96 Per Hour.
- May include bonus or sales incentive plans, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
- Commission structure for certain sales roles.
About The Role
As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will perform complex machine set up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. You will be responsible for proposing measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications

- 1-2 years of job-related experience preferred.

Pay
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. In addition, Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans.
