Production Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assembles fabricated metal components, subassemblies, products, or systems, as specified by work orders, diagrams, or layout
• Performs machine and/or process operations using basic hand tools and other equipment that may be unique to the application
• Reads work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or received verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
• Works in a team or as an individual assembling small parts on a bench or conveyor based on prescribed methods
• Examples include simple, repetitive connective of wires, use of small hand tools, air and hand arbor presses as required
• Handling of parts and sub-assemblies up to 50 pounds
• Assists other team members as needed
• Inspects tools and equipment for defects and notifies supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed
• Ensures environment, health and safety rules and procedures are followed
• Maintains, organizes and cleans work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in manufacturing environment
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs and able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be flexible to work overtime as necessary

Pay

Starting Wage $18.25/hr.
