About the role
This role supports Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery's production operations on 2nd Shift (3 PM- 11 PM).Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate production schedules, work orders, and production records.
- Enter production data into company systems accurately and timely.
- Generate and distribute production reports, including production output, downtime, and inventory reports.
- Cook up production schedules and assist in ensuring orders are completed on time.
- Act as a liaison between production, planning, warehouse, and other departments.
- Monitor production costs and assist with budget tracking.
- Support process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to production leadership as needed.
- Aid with various reporting and data analysis projects.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing, food production, or production environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and data entry systems.
- Experience with ERP systems or production management software preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing or food safety practices is a plus.
Qualifications
