Job Details

Own daily production accounting for 30 operated wells — this is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role
Reconcile purchaser statements against system data to make sure volumes and payments match
Handle the manual, administrative day-to-day
Ensure accurate and timely payment collection for all production sold
Enter run tickets and production data to keep records clean and current
Prepare and file monthly reports with the Texas Railroad Commission and New Mexico Oil Conservation Division
Set up new wells and equipment configurations in Quorum ODP
Enter run tickets and contract compressor data for third-party contractors who don't have direct system access
Submit drilling permits, well completions, saltwater disposal, and commingling applications
Support general accounting duties as needed — this is a small team and everyone pitches in
Monitor incoming emails and make sure documents are saved and organized

What We're Looking For

Accounting professional with AP/AR, reconciliations (preferably from oil and gas company)
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable owning the work in a small, hands-on team
Quorum ODP and/or ODA experience strongly preferred
Solid understanding of RRC and NMOCD filing requirements
Experience with state bonds or surety bond compliance is a plus
