Product/Test Engineering (NPI/NTI)

About the role

Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with test engineering and design teams to define test plans, based on knowledge of ATE capabilities and limitations, for new product development.
• Develop test programs on automated test equipment with an emphasis on quality of coverage and cost effectiveness; characterize and debug new chips with design and product engineering teams.
• Translate product specification and systems requirements into test requirements; define and implement concepts for design for testability and for automatic test software generation.
• Perform bench validation and characterization, developing test plans based on design specification.
• Innovate new test methodologies and technologies to reduce development time and manufacturing costs through familiarity with the product, its architecture, and design methodology.
• Work with teams to plan out projects, debug new silicon, and support production ramps and production problems.
• Lead cost reduction and yield enhancement test solutions as a product ramps production; responsible for parallel test concepts and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Pay

$122,923.13 per year.
