About the role

The Product Technology Senior Associate role focuses on evaluating software platforms through an integrated commercial, operational, and financial lens. The team provides investment-grade insights that tie product architecture and roadmap credibility directly to valuation, growth, and margin sustainability. You will provide analytical and technical support across product technology diligence engagements, focusing on architecture, engineering, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct architecture reviews and documentation analysis
  • Support codebase and technical debt analysis
  • Analyze cloud infrastructure configurations
  • Affiliate roadmap feasibility
  • Support hosting cost and R&D cost analysis
  • Prepare diligence slides and summaries
  • Support management Q&A tracking

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in software engineering, cloud engineering, architecture analysis, or product development environments
  • Experience in SaaS or platform businesses preferred
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Structured problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • High learning agility
  • Interest in private equity and transaction environments
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Pay

The base salary range for this position is between $137,816 and $165,020. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.

Schedule

This role requires in-person attendance at least three days per week, either at a GT office or client site. Here, you are supported to prioritize your overall well-being through work-life integration options that work best for you and those in your household.
