Product Tech Lead

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Product Tech Lead to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will guide the technical direction for modern web products while partnering closely with product and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on engineering depth with leadership skills to help shape architecture, delivery, and long-term platform quality. You will also support developers through coaching, solution design, and technical decision-making that improves reliability and scalability across the product suite. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers through coaching and career support
• Drive technical architecture decisions across products and platforms
• Facilitate technical discussions and solution design reviews
• Align technical strategy with product and business objectives
• Develop and maintain modern web applications
• Establish best practices for code quality and system reliability
• Coordinate with stakeholders on technical initiatives and delivery timelines

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building scalable web applications
• Proven technical leadership experience with engineering teams
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Experience with Django and Python development
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native application development
• Familiarity with AI-driven development and automation tools
• Strong communication skills with stakeholder management capabilities

Pay

$185,000 – $215,000 annually
