Product Support Engineer - Remote Applications

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Product Support Engineer - Remote Applications to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will focus on supporting remote application deployments in customer-controlled environments, with an emphasis on implementation readiness, stability, and operational troubleshooting. You will partner closely with customer IT and security teams as well as internal technical stakeholders to ensure smooth rollouts and strong deployment outcomes. The position also plays an important role in improving documentation, coordination, and support processes across global time zones.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation process for remote application deployments from site preparation to stabilization
• Collaborate with customer IT and security teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and deployment compliance
• Manage customer-hosted deployment environments including VM setup and VPN configurations
• Troubleshoot connectivity and operational issues across various technical layers
• Support integration of enterprise features such as SSO and certificate management
• Work with internal teams on software updates, troubleshooting, and training
• Enhance deployment processes by improving documentation and coordination efforts

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Product Support Engineering or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of deployment engineering and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Experience with secure remote access solutions and customer-controlled environments
• Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with enterprise identity management systems like LDAP and Active Directory
• Excellent communication skills for customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration
• Comfortable supporting global deployments across various time zones

Pay

$111,100 – $188,900 annually
