Product Support Engineer II

Hybrid role based in Richardson, TX or Houston, TX. U.S. Person status required for compliance with U.S. export control laws.

About the role

As a Product Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for Honeywell’s sensing products and solutions, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve product issues and drive continuous improvement, contributing to the success of the Sensing Solutions business.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for sensing products used in industrial applications.
• Develop and maintain product documentation and training materials to support internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve product issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support cross-functional teams on product development projects, providing insights about customers’ needs based on day-to-day interactions with customers.

Qualifications

You must have

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product support or engineering roles, in industries like Healthcare, Transportation, or Aerospace & Defense.
• Strong knowledge of sensing technologies and product lifecycle support.
• Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for complex products.

• Knowledge of Aerospace & Defense industry standards and practices.
• Proficiency in product data management and support tools such as Salesforce, InContact, and/or Teamcenter.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
