About the role
This role is central to DCI-Marketing's sales and project teams, focusing on creating accurate, competitive, and beautifully presented budgets and proposals.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing, researching, developing, and maintaining product/vehicle order guide information
- Acting as the knowledge expert, proactively communicating information, status, and direction to clients, internal teams, and agency partners
- Anticipating client needs or changes and ensuring appropriate solutions are in place
- Developing, maintaining, and growing client relationships by consistently offering reliable and relevant product expertise and value
- Ensuring consistency with product line information and strategy across multiple media projects
- Developing and managing key strategic relationships with partners, vendors, and client groups to effectively deliver client work and reinforce a strong agency relationship
- Show initiative and desire to learn by staying up to date with industry trends, consumer insights, marketing technology, and applying this information to actionable solutions and thought leadership activities
- Identifying, assessing, and bringing forward new opportunities, proposals, cost savings, or process efficiencies that demonstrate client business understanding and support account growth
Requirements
- 4-7+ Years of product and marketing experience, preferably with General Motors brands
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
- Highly focused self-starter who works independently and collaborates well with colleagues at all levels
- Superior analytical aptitude with the ability to quickly review and interpret vehicle ordering data
- Strong client services focus and overall positive attitude with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines with high attention to detail
- Ability and desire to travel to General Motors Headquarters (Warren, Michigan), agency, and vendor offices
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
- Demonstrates a desire to learn and develop existing or new skills
- Highly proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management
- Experience with JIRA and ZiFlow applications is desired, but not required
