About the role

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business and product strategy for the various domains within Machine Learning, and AI Cloud systems working with product and engineering leadership.
  • Enable the product and engineering leadership to make sound long-term product strategy decisions to meet the needs of AI2.
  • Develop strategic analysis, working with leadership and product management teams (e.g., market sizing, buy, build, or partner assessment, strategy/game theory, portfolio rationalization).
  • Develop commercial models, pricing/packaging strategies, business cases, and financial models/projections.
  • Provide insightful data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership, based on strategic insights, analysis, experience, technical acumen, and good judgment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Preferred qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in a management, technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience driving complex strategic and operational initiatives across various functional domains and geographies. Experience in using metrics and analytics to business problems and generating actionable insights. Ability to deliver effective presentations and build partnerships with executive leaders and their teams across Google. Ability to structure analysis and drive/execute data modeling and reporting initiatives. Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving, analysis, and written/verbal communication skills, with effective business acumen and attention to detail.

Pay

US: $150000 - $218000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
