Product Specialist (SIEM)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Engineer (SIEM) to join our Product Team, focusing on developing SIEM products based on customer needs and cyber security challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop SIEM product ideas aligned with customers’ interests and cyber security needs.
• Identify customers’ cyber security problems and propose solutions based on detection and automated response principles.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to secure approval for proposed solutions.
• Perform market analysis on competing SIEM products.
• Analyze feasibility, cost, and return on investment (ROI) for product ideas and solutions.
• Support the implementation and mass production of solutions.
• Plan budget requirements for projects.
• Lead and coordinate Product Specialists.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with SIEM products.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Software Engineering). A master’s degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking and network protocols (TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, FTP, etc.).
• Experience with application deployment and support.
• Hands-on experience in a product integration environment.
• Knowledge of REST API best practices and usage (advantageous).
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana (ELK/Elastic Stack).
• Strong background in system/network administration, security devices, or cyber security fields.
• Extensive experience in the SIEM domain.
• Portfolio of successful past projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry and market trends.
• Creative and passionate about solving customer problems.
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Very good command of English.
• Experience working in an agile team.
• Analytical, team-oriented, and solution/result-driven.
• Living on the Asian side of Istanbul is preferable.
