Product Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist to join an aerospace manufacturing organization in Meriden, CT. This position serves as a key technical and commercial resource supporting aerospace products throughout their lifecycle from quotation and new product introduction through production, product changes, and customer delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and production processes and the ability to work effectively with aerospace OEM customers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and other internal teams. Aerospace manufacturing experience is required. Candidates without aerospace manufacturing experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activitiesSupport product changes and product lifecycle activitiesServe as the product and technical resource for assigned aerospace productsSupport products from quotation through production and customer deliveryWork closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teamsSupport aerospace OEM customers and customer requirementsCoordinate product requirements between customers and internal departmentsHelp identify and resolve technical and product-related issuesSupport production and manufacturing activitiesParticipate in product development and improvement activitiesMaintain accurate product information, records, and documentationSupport customer-specific technical and manufacturing requirementsHelp ensure products meet customer, technical, quality, and manufacturing requirementsAssist with cross-functional coordination throughout the product lifecycleCommunicate technical information clearly to both customers and internal teams Required Qualifications Aerospace manufacturing experience is required3+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:AerospaceManufacturingProduct ManagementEngineeringTechnical SalesRelated technical disciplinesExperience supporting OEM aerospace customersStrong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and production processesAbility to understand and communicate technical product requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and customersStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerospace product development or NPIExperience supporting aerospace products throughout their lifecycleExperience working directly with aerospace OEM customersExperience interpreting customer technical requirementsFamiliarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and production environmentsExperience coordinating product changes and engineering requirements Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can bridge the gap between the customer/commercial side and the technical/manufacturing side of an aerospace organization. You should be comfortable discussing customer requirements, working with Engineering and Manufacturing, supporting product development, and helping resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
