About the Role

Team expansion into AWS, Snowflake, and advanced Python development requires additional specialized technical expertise. Projects involving cloud architecture, analytical engineering, data modeling, and AI/ML demand skills to be executed successfully. A specialist is critical to maintaining project timelines and ensuring delivery of scalable, modern data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and creation of logical and physical data models aligned with complex business and technical needs.
• Produce analytical models that enhance reporting, decision-making, and overall data-driven insights across the organization.
• Collaborate across business units, application teams, DBAs, and leadership to develop high-quality analytical solutions.
• Help business units improve their ability to serve taxpayers through improved data solutions and insights.
• Stay current with emerging analytics and database technologies, evaluating and testing new tools for possible adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with Streamlit.

Qualifications

• Highly skilled in data analysis software and statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, IOP suite).
• Highly skilled in business intelligence (BI) and expert with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Cognos).
• Highly skilled in coding and reporting (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Highly skilled in data preparation and transformation, machine learning, predictive and prescriptive analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx).
• Highly skilled in SQL and extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
