Product Service Engineer
Support deliverable execution for New Product Introduction and Continuous Product Improvement processes for Technologies offerings. As a key contributor, you will have a significant impact on overall product quality and customer experience for Terrain technologies. This role involves providing support and service engineering services, which include product validation, investigating, troubleshooting, and diagnosing application and technical problems, with an emphasis on project management and internal and external relations.
Responsibilities
- Create documentation for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Validate form, fit, and function of newly developed products.
- Evaluate defects in production products as part of Continuous Product Improvement.
- Provide advanced support for internal and external customers by triaging escalations to restore customer production systems.
- Collaborate with a global team, reporting to the work director, within a team of 25 people.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in NPI and CPI processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mining Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. An Associate’s degree with more years of relevant experience is acceptable. A Master’s degree may be overqualified.
- Project management experience.
- Experience supporting technology in an industrial or production environment.
- Experience utilizing Azure, Linux, SQL Server, TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with schematics.
- Product Support experience; field experience is a plus, and mining experience will set you apart.
- Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes.
- Comparable background roles include Product Service Consultant or Product Service Engineer.

Pay
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $43.00 - $45.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
