Product Security Engineer (Founding team)

About the role

Aglide is seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in security-sensitive environments, and a passion for building innovative solutions that enhance security and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated workflows for user login and lifecycle management inside work applications.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, end-to-end encrypted infrastructure.
• Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance and protect against sophisticated attacks.
• Ship secure product features across the dashboard, desktop app, and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive product innovation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in security-sensitive environments.
• Strong foundation in applied cryptography, zero-trust principles, and secure software development.
• Excellent debugging and systems thinking skills, especially when dealing with browser automation and end-to-end encrypted data.
• Able to take ownership of end-to-end projects and deliver solutions quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, Postgres, Electron, web automation, and browser extensions.
• Comfortable with zero-trust concepts and end-to-end encryption.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or enterprise security review processes.
• Experience with secure AI systems and critical thinking about data security in the context of AI.
• Penetration testing or red teaming experience.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with browser automation and end-to-end encrypted data handling.
• Knowledge of security architectures and threat modeling.
• Ability to work independently and confidently.
