The Role
We're looking for a Product & Savings Intelligence Analyst with strong analytical and research skills to build intelligent product groups that unlock savings for our customers. Your job is to become an expert in specific product categories by diving deep into research, data analysis, and pattern recognition. You'll create groupings that show customers which products are interchangeable, which substitutes offer better value, and where switches can deliver significant cost savings without compromising quality. By synthesizing complex product information and market data, you'll turn insights into strategic groupings that help our customers make smarter procurement decisions and realize tangible savings.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in specific medical and surgical product categories, understanding the clinical, operational, and financial nuances that matter
- Build product groupings and categories that identify interchangeable products and substitutes across different brands
- Identify and structure brand switching and substitution opportunities that drive measurable savings for customers
- Research and document product alternatives, their clinical equivalence, and their cost implications
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of product groupings and category frameworks
- Support the broader ops team by sharing product knowledge and helping customers navigate category-level decisions
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research skills with a background in mathematics, data analysis, economics, or a quantitative discipline
- Exceptional ability to learn complex domains, synthesize technical information, and identify patterns in data
- Proven track record of research projects, independent learning, or diving deep into specialized subject matter
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and translate complex information into actionable insights
- Driven by intellectual curiosity, you thrive in deep-focus work and are motivated to become an expert in a domain
What we offer
- Annual base salary of $90,000 – $120,000, representing Ops Level 2
