Customer-facing staff responsible for winning business. Operates with some autonomy under well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results. Allows modification of procedures and practices as long as annual volume, margin, and compliance requirements are met. Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.
Responsibilities
- Sell products, services, parts, solutions, or projects within a geographic area.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups with analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy and strategy.
- Apply knowledge of best practices and competitive differentiation in the market.
- Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters for complex, day-to-day problems related to projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
- Prioritize information for decision-making using technical experience and analytical thinking.
- Leverage multiple internal and limited external sources to arrive at decisions.
- Act as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Explain information, develop consensus-building skills, and convey performance expectations.
- Handle sensitive issues as needed.
Requirements
- For roles outside the USA: Advanced experience in Sales. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in the USA: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sales).
Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
Pay
For U.S.-based positions, the pay range is $100,800.00–$151,200.00 annually. Compensation decisions depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives (LTI), may apply.
