Role
The Product Sales Manager (PSM) is a sales professional who is highly motivated, results-driven, and possesses technical proficiency. Their main objective is to promote and increase sales of 3D optical technology within their designated territory.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers
- Identify and create new sales opportunities to expand the company’s market presence – especially into large, complex corporations with multi-step, consultative sales processes and extended sales cycles
- Willingness to manage and travel a large territory within the PSM’s region
- Identify and share leads with other sales teams and channels to maximize sales potential
- Explore innovative ways to support customers and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless customer experience and take ownership of customer success
- Collaborate closely with our technical team to deliver top-notch product and solution demonstrations
- Follow the ZEISS sales process to propose the best solution for the customer’s needs
- Support sales and marketing events to promote our products and engage with potential customers
- Follow our proven ZEISS Sales Process to tailor the best solutions for customers' specific needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- A background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred
- 2-5 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the field of metrology or precision measurement systems
- Must have a valid US driver’s license
