About the Role

Coordinates and monitors all rework inventory activities for totes and finished goods. Manages the rework, re-labeling, and re-boxing process from start to finish to meet customer expectations and control loss.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the rework, rebox, and re-label process according to schedule.
  • Facilitate communication and activities between Quality Assurance, Scheduling, and Production to ensure rework is prepared, available, and delivered daily.
  • Organize and manage Quality Hold areas to reduce inventory damage and expedite the transition of unshippable product into usable inventory.
  • Manage drum and tote inventory to reduce excess stock.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Transfer Coordinator on transferred items and 3PL inventory, and with Inventory Control Techs on variances and transfers.
  • Use systems to gather information and prepare reports, ensuring accuracy for all labeled or re-boxed cases.
  • Monitor and verify daily transactions in AS400 for inventory control accuracy.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy of re-labeled and re-boxed items.
  • Monitor and initiate disposition of expired or unusable rework inventory.
  • Communicate daily progress and accomplishments to key management via reports in Word, Excel, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent math and written English skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and coordinate activities across departments and organizational levels.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed repackaging instructions.
  • Proficiency in AS400, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Forklift operation skills.

Physical Demands

  • Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Potential exposure to outdoor/adverse temperatures, vibrations, chemicals, fumes, food allergens (e.g., soy, dairy), confined spaces, and heights exceeding 18 feet.

Schedule

  • Typical shifts are 8–12 hours per day.
  • Additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends may be required.
