Responsibilities

  • Analyze production non-conformances and develop effective dispositions using sound engineering judgment.
  • Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational, and quality issues and support final engineering solutions.
  • Identify and communicate deviations that may impact design intent and safety, and help manage resolution.
  • Support product/process improvements, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration within a factory environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET or ABET-equivalent accredited course of study.
  • 9 or more years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering.
  • Ability to work fully onsite and participate in training rotation assignments that may include first, second, or third shift, weekends, daily overtime, and travel between sites.
  • Experience working in environments that involve factory-floor conditions, including stairs, trip hazards, high-noise areas, chemical hazards, and entry into airplanes during various stages of build.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering from an ABET or ABET-equivalent accredited course of study.
  • MS in Engineering from an ABET or ABET-equivalent accredited course of study.
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering.
  • Experience working in environments that involve factory-floor conditions, including stairs, trip hazards, high-noise areas, chemical hazards, and entry into airplanes during various stages of build.
