Product Reliability Engineer II

Job Summary

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures completion of product qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing.
• Conducts production reliability tests and methodologies to anticipate failures.
• Evaluates product performance, history, and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance.
• Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer, and any governmental agency reliability objectives.
• Collaborates with the engineering team and seeks opportunities to develop new/improve existing durability test methodology to enhance product development efficiency.
• Supports root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing and on returned products from the field.
• Advises and confers with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings and design recommendations.
• Reviews code and engineering standards

Job Qualifications

• Education and Experience Requirements: Degree(s): Four-year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences. 2-4 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Communicates effectively in written and spoken form, Strong interpersonal skills, Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities, Demonstrates excellent multitasking and organizational skills, Works effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
