Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the quality engineering team.
- Lead initiatives to elevate quality performance across the entire product portfolio.
- Serve as the primary interface for customers on quality-related topics.
- Partner closely with Failure Analysis, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Field Sales to achieve quality objectives and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for field failures, including ownership of 8D problem-solving and delivery of customer-ready reports.
- Define, implement, and sustain operational and systemic improvements to product quality.
- Manage customer notifications related to product changes.
- Support and facilitate customer audits and quality reviews.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in customer quality engineering for integrated circuits.
- Expertise in the 8D problem-solving methodology.
- Direct customer-facing experience in a quality management role.
- Strong problem-solving skills across semiconductor products and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and factually.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical discussions.
- Able to travel globally to customer sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Mandarin.
Pay
The annual base pay range for this position is $158,695- $229,046.
