About the role
The Parts & Product Support Representative (PPSR) plays a crucial role in ensuring customer machines remain productive and efficient by promoting and selling parts, troubleshooting minor issues, and traveling to sites for assessments.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships for several key accounts, focusing on parts sales and product support.
- Create after-market kit formations and provide innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Develop and establish new business while maintaining strong relationships with the current customer base.
- Prepare and deliver quotes for resale parts and manufactured parts through Epicor/Sage, including creating recommended spare parts lists from equipment orders.
- Work with internal departments to assist with scheduling and production of master-work orders, and make sales calls on both existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the field service team on manufactured parts installations and provide support to GFW major account managers for equipment orders.
- Coordinate with supply chain reps and manufacturing planners to request and coordinate prices and lead times, and use customer and freight forwarder portals for document submission and processing.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any necessary issues, and participate in “sales walk-arounds” to document final truck builds and take photos.
- Sell value through cost-improvement proposals and understand the competition to maintain the company's competitive edge.
- Work on the shop floor for a designated period each quarter or as needed to stay current with equipment changes and additions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience at Ground Force or 3 years of similar industry experience
- Extensive knowledge of mining-related products and working knowledge of the mining/mine support equipment product line
- A good understanding of all territories and their service needs, as well as knowledge of the competition within the area served
- Excellent verbal and written communication, math, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Date Entry
- Availability to work during off-hours and weekends to handle customer emergencies
- Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay
Starting salary determined by experience and performance, plus commission.
