GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely within the USA to be $130K to $140K. This reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation or benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development, testing, implementation, and support of the solution.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand workflows.
  • Define and document business workflows.
  • Validate feasibility of requirements.
  • Create and prioritize the backlog.
  • Convert functional requirements into a Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Validate requirements with stakeholders.
  • Assist in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenario validation.
  • Perform core product management/ownership tasks, supporting internal teams and clients, including:
    • Define product delivery scope and deliverables in collaboration with all stakeholders.
    • Build a delivery roadmap aligned with the product vision and strategy.
    • Plan releases and monitor progress with a focus on timely commitments.
    • Manage stakeholders, align on priorities, and negotiate scope.
    • Manage requirements – elicitation, analysis, breakdown, and traceability.
    • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional features with decomposition into user stories.
    • Manage and prioritize the product backlog for 2–3 scrum teams, and lead and facilitate story refinement.
    • Ensure that all requirements are clear, concise, testable, and aligned with project goals and technical capabilities.
    • Track and report on product feature delivery progress to top-level stakeholders internally and externally (to the client).
    • Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
    • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure alignment.
    • Work closely with the development team to ensure that proposed solutions effectively address business needs and are technically feasible.
    • Participate in solution design discussions, providing business context and validating proposed approaches.
    • Support testing efforts by reviewing test plans and cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements.
    • Create and maintain all required product documentation.
    • Proactively communicate product-related topics across all levels of the project in a clear and concise manner.
    • Proactively identify and escalate potential risks, issues, and dependencies related to product requirements.
    • Establish and support change management processes by assessing the impact of changes on existing functionality and requirements, and aligning implementation with release goals and plans.
    • Listen to client and team members’ feedback to improve the product management process.
  • Strong knowledge of the Retail Domain (ERP, E-commerce, 3PL WMS, Merchandising, Planning and Forecasting, etc.) and workflows (PTP, OTC, RTR, etc.).

Requirements

  • Strong Product Management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and negotiate.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex customer and business problems.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and diagrams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Facilitation and ownership skills are a must.
  • Strong experience in change management.
  • Strong experience in backlog management, prioritization, estimation, and planning.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience in a cross-cultural, multi-team environment.
  • Fluent English – comprehensive written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with technical leads.
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

Nice to Have

  • PSPO, SAFe, or other Product Owner/Manager certifications.
  • Experience with the Retail and/or Beauty (skincare and haircare) products domain.
  • Experience in data integration-related work between enterprise systems and external platforms.
