Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and development teams, ensuring solutions align with business needs and the team understands the "why" behind what they build
• Set product goals that provide vision, clarity, and customer value while being achievable by the team
• Maintain multiple refined product backlogs with selectable user stories to enable sprint planning and represent stakeholder needs
• Define project scope, write clear and actionable requirements, ensure backlog readiness, and facilitate quality checkpoints for sprint execution
• Support developers with prompt, detailed clarifications from a user perspective without presupposing technical solutions
• Hold accountability for project quality and delivery

Requirements

• BS in computer science, math, electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field—or relevant experience
• 7-10+ years of experience developing MES, high-level enterprise SCADA systems, or similar in a project-based industry
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodology and Scrum project execution
• Experience in a Product Owner role or similar capacity, with the ability to scope projects, define long-term roadmaps, and proactively identify risks
• Ability to align with customer objectives, manage expectations, and drive continuous improvement in the product development lifecycle
• Experience with the Ignition platform is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
