Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, advocate and evangelize a product vision, strategy and roadmap for the product(s) owned, based on the needs of the business.
- Strive to understand the needs of stakeholders through discovery and strategy, defining the vision for the finished product.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize the next feature bringing the most value to the stakeholder.
- Oversee the development, delivery, and execution of digital acquisition platforms including online account opening, online lending and various other digital application systems.
- Contribute to collaborative discussions and coordinate with internal partners, business managers, marketing, retail banking, fraud and other stakeholders, as well as consortium partners to deliver a top-in-class experience for digital acquisitions.
- Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of stakeholders for their digital products.
- Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to create a product roadmap.
- Lead the product vision and be an advocate for the product to leadership and the stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end delivery of desired product.
- Capture, summarize and organize stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes, epics, and user stories in a product backlog through research, interviews, strategic goal setting and product guides.
- Identify and map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
- Demonstrate understanding of and experience using Agile processes and methodologies. Participate in scrum team meetings to ensure delivery of product enhancements.
- Act as liaison and primary communicator between stakeholders and development team members, ensuring there is buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategies, and clear instructions and deliverables for the developers.
- Partner with contact center, deposit operations, MX, Technology, and other relevant areas on process and monitoring results and recommendations.
- Manage third party and vendor relationships and accountability on deliverables.
- Resolve conflicts and problem solve within the team, vendors and collaborating areas.
- Ability to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing priorities.
- Responsible for strategies and implementation of tools and processes to mitigate fraud and ensure compliance with Customer Identification Programs.
- Introduce technology, reports and processes that will support the prevention of fraudulent activity.
- Use data and insights to identify threats, strategize to execute these changes.
- Partner closely with Risk and Fraud teams to develop risk signals collection and machine learning prevention strategies.
- Supports team in staying knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends and evolving regulatory requirements with digital account opening/lending and assess potential impacts to the organization.
- Works alongside other Digital Product Owners on digital best practice and drives growth and strategy tactics to deliver frictionless digital experiences across all acquisition platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years in the Digital Product Owner role in Financial Institution.
- 3+ years in Digital Account Opening/Lending Platforms.
- Analytics engine (i.e. Google Analytics), must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, Digital Acquisition Admin Systems.
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

Pay
The estimated salary for this role is $94,570.00 to $113,484.00 annually.
