About the role
Become a growth leader and driver at Carestream. Join the product management team as a Product Owner. The Product Owner is responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work delivered by the development team, ensuring that valuable functionality is added to the product.
Responsibilities
- Drive value to the business by prioritizing features, enhancements, integrations, and technical investments that deliver the highest value to customers, partners, and the organization.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering, synthesizing, and sharing customer feedback, usage data, market insights, and business objectives to inform product decisions.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and align product priorities with strategic goals and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, and business leaders to define and execute the product roadmap for payments, APIs, integrations, and strategic partnerships.
- Define, refine, and manage the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and technical enablers, ensuring work is clearly prioritized and aligned to business value.
- Assess and prioritize stories, features, defects, technical debt, and enhancement requests to maximize customer impact, business value, operational efficiency, and strategic objectives.
- Develop detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications that enable development teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
- Possess a strong understanding of end-to-end customer journeys, business processes, integrations, APIs, payment workflows, and system dependencies to support informed product decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during product discovery, visioning, and solution development activities to ensure customer, technical, and business considerations are represented.
- As the primary advocate and subject matter expert for assigned products, APIs, integrations, and payment capabilities, serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and acceptance testing, ensuring delivered functionality meets defined business requirements and quality standards.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor capabilities, emerging technologies, and industry developments within the dental software ecosystem to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Measure and monitor product performance, adoption, reliability, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes to continuously improve products and inform future roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- Must be a passionate problem solver.
- Eager to learn and adopt AI in your day to day job and workflows.
- Experience in customer facing roles is an advantage.
- Experience in the health, dental, or benefits industry is an advantage.
- Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of product management or product owner experience.
Skills
- Strong understanding of end-to-end customer journeys, business processes, integrations, APIs, payment workflows, and system dependencies.
- Ability to research and analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor capabilities, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
- Experience in defining, refining, and managing the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and technical enablers.

- Experience in Agile ceremonies and practices.

- Competitive salary range of $90K - $110K USD, based on experience.
