About the role
We're seeking a Product Owner with a passion for transforming business needs into innovative technology solutions. This role involves partnering with business leaders and engineering teams to deliver strategic products that support critical Corporate & Investment Banking operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the Agile product backlog to ensure delivery aligns with business goals.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, architects, and software engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for technology improvements.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect prioritization, and solution validation.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, audit, and operational standards within a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Execution professional, or similar Agile delivery role.
- Proven experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing Agile backlogs.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working directly with software development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance business priorities with technical delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Preferred Experience
- Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Lending, CRM, or related financial services experience.
- Familiarity with wholesale or institutional banking operations.
- Experience supporting lending workflows, credit processes, deal management, or relationship management platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, LoanIQ, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, or workflow automation platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, enterprise architecture, and data flows.
- Experience working within regulated financial services organizations.
