As a pivotal member of our Business Information Systems (BIS) team, you’ll bridge the gap between partners and the delivery team, ensuring software solutions align with Aristocrat’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners across departments to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Conduct regular meetings, workshops, and presentations to align business goals with software development efforts.
- Prioritize user stories, bugs, and enhancements—with the Application Owner—based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
- Create and maintain a product backlog that reflects current business priorities.
- Work closely with development teams as a subject-matter authority, providing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide insights and direction to ensure the final product meets partner expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to plan and coordinate product releases.
- Communicate release schedules, updates, and potential impacts to partners in a timely manner.
- Monitor product performance and gather partner feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally within software development or IT environments.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Proven understanding of Lean Six Sigma, Process Improvement, and Change Management principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and partner groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel); experience with data analytics tools and business information systems is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-informed decisions while balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability to partner closely with the Application Owner to respond to evolving business needs and shifting priorities.
- Capability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective resolutions in collaboration with business partners.

Pay
$63,000 – $117,000 per year. Final offers will be based on experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
