Product Owner / AI Automation

About the role

A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for an AI Product Owner to work in Irving, TX (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Work with the brightest minds at one of the largest financial institutions in the world.
• Facilitate the delivery of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated solutions.
• Support the business in the alignment of their Intelligent Automation (IA) needs/usage with their technology and business strategies.
• Develop the automation analysis and design methodology, including related policies, procedures, tools and artifacts.
• Translate business processes into clear and concise user stories and create and groom the backlog for automation delivery and deployment.
• Support automation testing and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Conduct product demos and provide product acceptance.
• Notify stakeholders of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis applying interpretive thinking and design thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions.
• Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
• Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
• Respond and collaborate with developers regarding the requirements and client needs.
• Make decisions product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AI, Gen-AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and orchestration platforms, with ability to translate business needs to technical requirements.
• Experience in leading and collaborating with Engineering teams to design and implement AI, Agentic AI workflows using LangChain/LangGraph, Google Agent Space, MS CoPilot Studio, etc.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise software development.
• Familiarity with Gen AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, BloombergGPT).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
