Product Operations Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast-growing SaaS/AI company, is looking for a versatile operator who can help scale a rapidly growing product line while supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution. This person will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth onboarding, strong product adoption, and consistent delivery quality. You'll play a central role in shaping how our offerings evolve, improving internal processes, and strengthening the connection between customer needs and product direction. Must understand accounting operations, background in Big 4 or a CPA is highly preferred!

Responsibilities

• Guide new customers through the full onboarding cycle, ensuring each implementation is organized, timely, and successful.
• Cook up cross-functional activities tied to new product rollouts, including documentation, internal training, and phased deployment planning.
• Gather insights from multiple channels—customer conversations, support interactions, product usage trends—and translate them into actionable recommendations for the product team.
• Lead initiatives that support ongoing compliance requirements and operational readiness across the product portfolio.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to expand their use of our solutions.
• Keep multiple workstreams moving at once, often balancing 5-10 customer projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Background in accounting, with recent implementation, customer success, or program delivery within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with operational workflows, customer-facing systems, and cross-team coordination.
• Experience operating in settings that require careful documentation, structured processes, or regulatory awareness.
• CPA or Big 4 experience preferred.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with confidence and clarity.
• Comfortable shaping structure where it doesn't yet exist and navigating ambiguity with ease.
• Skilled communicator who can collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business leaders.
