About the role
We're looking for a highly organized, systems-minded, and execution-driven Product Operations Manager to join Topsort’s growing Product team in our Boston office.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Commercial teams — helping ensure our product organization operates efficiently as we scale globally.
Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence across the Product organization by improving workflows, processes, and cross-functional coordination
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward
- Help manage product planning cadences, roadmap tracking, sprint visibility, and launch coordination
- Build and maintain systems, dashboards, documentation, and reporting that improve visibility into product execution and team performance
- Identify bottlenecks, operational gaps, and communication breakdowns, then proactively solve them
- Care for product launches internally to ensure teams are aligned on timelines, updates, dependencies, and releases
- Support product analytics and operational reporting to help leadership make data-informed decisions
- Improve internal product documentation, onboarding materials, processes, and knowledge-sharing practices
- Manage and optimize product tools and systems such as Jira, Notion, Linear, Productboard, or similar platforms
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Engineering teams to help close feedback loops between customers and Product
- Create scalable operational foundations as Topsort continues growing across regions and product lines
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Business Operations, Product Management, Consulting, or similar operational roles in fast-paced tech environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving priorities at once
- Exceptional communication skills — you know how to bring clarity across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Leadership teams
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and improve systems proactively
- Analytical thinking and comfort working with product metrics, operational data, and reporting
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Notion, Confluence, Airtable, Productboard, or similar
- A high ownership mentality — you’re someone who naturally steps in, figures things out, and drives execution forward
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where processes may not yet fully exist
- A startup mentality: adaptable, resourceful, fast-moving, and excited to help scale a company in high-growth mode
Qualifications
- Bonus if you’ve worked in SaaS, AdTech, Retail Media, marketplaces, or technical B2B product environments
What We Value
- Deep dive into details: Professionals who are not content with superficial answers and dive deeply into the details to uncover root causes and optimal solutions
- Team first: A low need for individual recognition, always prioritizing collective results over personal credit
- You thrive with ambiguity: Exceptional ability to tackle open-ended problems in unstructured environments, turning chaos into structured innovation
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn, mentor, lead, and follow as the situation demands, fostering growth at all levels
- Urgency: A disproportionate sense of urgency in execution, while keeping scalability and the creation of replicable processes in mind to ensure long-term success
- Curiosity: Genuinely curious individuals who can quickly learn difficult concepts and apply them effectively
