Product Operations and Implementation Analyst
Current work authorization for Canada is required for this role. The work location is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when it will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway. This role operates on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Product Operations and Implementation, the Product Operations and Implementation Analyst assists Product Development/Solutions and Product Operations teams with project and product planning from an implementation and program/project management perspective.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Implementation Team to work with Product Solutions/Development & Operations to create project plans and target timelines.
- Share and deliver the Product Roadmap and provide updates to key business partners at FIC, FFIO, GPS, FTO, Legal, State Street, etc. as required.
- Develop a project plan for project initiation deliverables (product details & approvals, completing product intake, meeting with key business partners, project planning, etc.).
- Help with the Project Implementation Team to work with the PGO and I.S. Managers to plan for upcoming projects and resource requirements.
- Work with other business partners (Legal, Regulatory Reporting, FTO, Compliance, FFIO, etc.) to plan for upcoming projects and key considerations.
- Assist with Product initiatives and/or Fund Events that require project management expertise but where either:
- a PGO project manager is not explicitly required (e.g., ETF exchange migration, ETF name changes, clearing broker onboarding, etc.), or
- a PGO project manager is not available to assist.
- Assist with the management of the schedule, deliverables, risks, and issues in workstreams managed within the Product department.
- Assist the Project Implementation Team and Product Solutions/Development & Operations to conduct a gap-analysis and determine net-new requirements and their estimated timelines.
- Work with the Project Implementation Team to conduct post-project review debriefs and recommendations with Product Development/Solutions & Product Operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of mutual fund/investment industry experience.
- University degree, or equivalent work experience.
- PMP designation is an asset.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $79,000 to $101,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
