Product Marketing Manager, Life Sciences

About the role
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will craft a compelling narrative to bring customers along the journey of AI and data use in this new environment, while elevating the Tempus brand. You will execute critical initiatives with a clear focus on long-term strategic goals. Your work will support multiple business units and increase the visibility of Tempus’ life sciences solutions.
Responsibilities
- Translate the value of Tempus’ complex data and AI-driven solutions into clear, compelling narratives for life sciences partners.
- Define and deploy customer personas to target customer needs and use cases for our products.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives for our data, AI, Foundation Models, and service offerings, including product launches and thought leadership content.
- Manage marketing projects from strategy to completion, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment with stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
- Analyze and report on performance, measuring key metrics and return on investment to inform future marketing strategy.
- Develop AI agents and tools to create efficiencies and systems for your projects, enabling scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience within life sciences, health data, or health AI/technology.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or scientific concepts into clear, concise marketing content.
- Proven experience managing multiple marketing projects and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work both as a strategic partner and a hands-on individual contributor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing real-world data, data-as-a-service (DaaS), SaaS, or other complex data-centric products or AI/foundation models.
- A strong background in product marketing with experience in product launch, customer persona development, tailored messaging, customer insights generation, and storytelling.
- Experience developing and using AI agents to create efficiencies in your workflow.
Pay
U.S. pay range: $90,000 - $150,000. The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
Hybrid-remote – Chicago or New York.
