About Liquid AI

Liquid AI was spun out of MIT CSAIL and builds general-purpose AI systems that run efficiently across various deployment targets, including data center accelerators and on-device hardware. Our systems prioritize low latency, minimal memory usage, privacy, and reliability. We collaborate with enterprises in sectors such as consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. We are currently scaling rapidly and seek talented individuals to contribute to our growth.

Opportunity

You will join Liquid AI as our first product marketing hire, working closely with the VP of Marketing at the intersection of product, communications, and go-to-market. Your role involves ensuring that our products are effectively communicated to the right audiences and supported by robust infrastructure. This is a high-ownership role requiring deep understanding of Liquid's capabilities and the needs of our enterprise buyers and technical users, while being driven by Liquid's unique narrative.

What We're Looking For

  • A Builder: You leverage modern tools and AI, including Claude Code, for content creation, campaign work, and rapid prototyping. You are comfortable creating demos or proof-of-concepts when necessary and can train your team to do the same.

  • A Translator: You bridge technical complexity with clear, credible market messaging. You ensure that technical details are presented in a way that resonates with both enterprise buyers and technical decision-makers.

  • An Operator: You focus on building repeatable systems rather than one-off deliverables. You manage kickoffs, briefs, and retrospectives across multiple channels.

  • A Cross-functional Driver: You collaborate closely with product, GTM, communications, and sales teams to drive campaigns that succeed across various channels.

  • A Networker: You identify and recommend tools, contractors, and agencies that support the growth of the marketing and communications team. You are adept at working with AI tools and freelancers.

The Work

  • Lead competitive analysis and market research to shape positioning and identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with product and GTM leads to develop and execute launch strategies, from briefs to post-mortems.

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging for enterprise buyers, developers, and technical decision-makers.

  • Build and maintain sales and partnership enablement materials, such as one-pagers, decks, battlecards, and use case briefs.

  • Use product usage data and customer feedback to refine messaging and market positioning.

  • Define and track marketing metrics that link launch activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

  • Work with the content and product teams to create demos and interactive experiences that make Liquid's capabilities accessible to buyers.

Must-Have Experience

  • 5+ years in product marketing for technology companies, with significant growth-stage experience and ideally at a tech company with a multi-dimensional business model.

  • Experience launching and executing campaigns that drive adoption and revenue.

  • Comfortable in technical environments and skilled at asking the right questions to clarify technical details before going to market.

  • Operational mindset with the ability to excel in multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.

Desired Experience

  • Experience marketing AI/ML, infrastructure, or developer-focused products to technical buyers.

  • Background with enterprise sales teams in complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles.

  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape across foundation model providers and edge AI.

  • Previously founded a marketing team at an early-stage tech company.

  • Hands-on experience using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools to build demos, prototypes, or interactive proof-of-concepts.

Success Metrics (Year One)

  • Launch infrastructure is established with a repeatable operating cadence for model and product releases that all teams trust and use.

  • Enablement materials are current, consistent, and actively used by sales and partnerships to move deals forward.

  • Marketing metrics are defined and tracked, with a clear connection between launch activity and pipeline and revenue outcomes.

  • Messaging is consistent across channels, materials, and external appearances.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary with equity in a unicorn-stage company.

  • Health benefits: We cover 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and dependents.

  • Financial benefits: We offer a 401(k) matching program up to 4% of base pay.

  • Time off: Unlimited PTO plus company-wide Refill Days throughout the year.
