About the Role
This is the first dedicated Product Marketing Lead for Nadia, Valence’s enterprise AI coaching platform. Responsibilities
- Own Nadia’s positioning and messaging—sharpening the narrative and competitive story for CHRO and enterprise‑executive buying committees and keeping it coherent across sales and marketing surfaces.
- Build the sales enablement function: create pitch decks, battlecards, and objection‑handling guides.
- Develop a system for competitive intelligence and translate market and competitor research into messaging and enablement assets.
- Partner with sales leadership to identify where deals accelerate versus stall, turning those insights into sharper positioning and better‑equipped sellers.
- Design go‑to‑market strategies for new capabilities and product launches.
- Lead analyst relations.

- Systems‑engineering mindset when building and scaling programs and playbooks, seeking 10x leverage through ingenuity, technology, and impact.
- High EQ and experience partnering with, aligning, and achieving shared success with commercial teams.
- Startup or high‑growth company experience—comfortable building a function with limited infrastructure and shifting priorities, and expert at creating a way forward through ambiguity.
- Deep understanding of the buying and competitive landscape in HR tech, people analytics, or L&D/coaching.
- Drive for excellence: full ownership of outcomes, willingness to roll up sleeves, and belief that frequent feedback drives improvement.
- Operate above pace: move quickly with conviction, test fast, and let results guide next steps.
- Take bold bets: prioritize strong ideas over ego, listen well, challenge directly, and commit fully even when the decision isn’t yours.
- AI‑native: actively incorporate AI into daily workflow and can cite specific automations or accelerations achieved in the past six months.
