About the role
Provides strategic and practical input for specific product offerings across the product life-cycle. Analyzes sales reports, market performance, financial impacts, trends, and merchandising strategies. Manages new and existing products to meet corporate goals. Serves as champion for the product line.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify product selection.
- Creates marketing plans and collateral material to establish effective marketing strategies.
- Reviews final product information, materials, features, benefits, specifications, and pricing for catalog to ensure accuracy.
- Forecasts sales for new and existing products to determine strategy.
- Facilitates and approves designs of final product to ensure standards.
- Provides content for product line such as white papers, website material, and feature/benefit information.
- Assists with other product lines as needed.
- Complies with company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Two to three years of experience in product management, marketing, or merchandising.
- Or a combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.
Skills
- Proficient use of MS Office Products.
- Above-moderate levels of English reading comprehension, speaking, and writing.
- Active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, analysis and evaluations.
- Judgment and decision-making, negotiation, and innovation.
Working Conditions
- Intermittently lift, carry, pull, and push up to 20 pounds.
- Continuously see, sit, and maintain balance.
- Frequently talk, hear, grasp, have visual acuity, and have repetitive use of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Occasionally walk.
