About the role

This role is essential for managing technical products that meet specific business goals and customer needs. It involves owning the product lifecycle—vision, strategy, technical delivery, and partner collaboration—to ensure successful outcomes. The role requires balancing customer insights, technical feasibility, and business goals to prioritize and deliver product features effectively. Success is measured by product performance, customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business and technical goals
  • Conduct market and customer research to find opportunities and inform product decisions based on data analysis and customer feedback
  • Translate product strategy into detailed features and user stories, managing the product backlog to support Agile development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to coordinate release schedules and ensure timely product delivery
  • Monitor product performance and quality in production, addressing defects and driving continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role writing in solution engineering or technical architecture in a large-scale company/application/product environment (Required)
  • 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience (Required)
  • Experience with relevant technologies such as 5G & LTE (Required)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex network systems and customer requests into clear, actionable insights for assessing feasibility, prioritizing work, and driving data-informed decisions
  • Backlog Management: Translating customer needs and business goals into a well-organized product backlog to keep Agile teams focused on high-impact work
  • Customer-Focused: Consistently centering customer needs—from verifying network feasibility to improving satisfaction and reducing churn across markets
  • Product Management: End-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, with success measured by revenue growth, customer metrics, and sales channel outcomes
  • Product Requirements: Translating complex technical network capabilities into clear, actionable requirements for cross-functional teams
  • Product Specifications: Documenting precise product specifications to bridge network capabilities and customer requests
  • Solution Architecture Design: Evaluating customer requests, validating technical feasibility, and ensuring alignment with T-Mobile’s infrastructure
  • Stakeholder Management: Building relationships and managing expectations across sales channels, engineering teams, and enterprise customers
  • Technical Design Documentation: Producing clear, accurate technical design documentation to reduce rework and enable smooth handoffs
  • Agile SDLC: Familiarity with Agile software development principles to support iterative product delivery (Preferred)

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Other Technical Certifications

Pay

Base Pay Range: $103,400 – $186,400. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, set at a percentage of eligible earnings in the prior year (e.g., 15% target for this role). Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
