Product Manager, Supplier Promotions & Pricing

Wayfair · Boston, MA · 3 days ago
Full-time

About the role

This Product Manager role sits within the Partner Home product area and focuses on supplier-facing pricing and promotional tooling. The role is hybrid, based in Boston, MA, with work required in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of how suppliers price and promote their assortments on Wayfair today, and the friction they face in setting up, monitoring, and optimizing promotions.
  • Own the roadmap for a focused set of Partner Home experiences that enable suppliers to manage promotional pricing and offers (e.g., configuring promotions, understanding eligibility and impact, resolving errors) end to end.
  • Define and iterate product experiences that make complex pricing and promotion concepts intuitive for non-technical supplier users, while preserving the flexibility needed for advanced partners.
  • Explore and incorporate AI- and agentic-powered workflows (for example, assistants, recommendations, or guided flows) that help suppliers set up and manage promotions more efficiently and confidently.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality features using Agile practices, writing clear requirements, managing trade-offs, and ensuring operational readiness (monitoring, alerting, documentation, and support paths).
  • Use data and experimentation to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and measure impact; define and monitor OKRs and key health metrics for your surfaces.
  • Collaborate with pricing science, analytics, and competitive intelligence partners to translate insights into simple, actionable supplier-facing workflows.
  • Partner with other cross domain PMs and engineers to ensure your experiences are well-integrated, discoverable, and consistent with the broader supplier experience.
  • Communicate product vision, decisions, and results clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels, bringing partners along through problem framing, storytelling, and structured updates.
  • Continuously refine product development processes and best practices within your immediate team and contribute to the broader GST and Partner Home product craft.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building products or platforms from concept to launch and iteration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A demonstrated track record of creating products that drive measurable business impact and user value.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data (quantitative and qualitative) to frame problems, prioritize, and evaluate solutions.
  • Experience working closely with engineers and technical partners, with enough technical fluency to contribute meaningfully to solution design and trade-off discussions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A customer- and user-obsessed mindset with the ability to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and jobs-to-be-done, then partner with design teams to translate them into intuitive product experiences.
  • A bias toward action and ownership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, make decisions, and drive progress in a complex environment.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to build strong relationships across product, engineering, design, analytics, and business teams.
  • Experience building AI-powered, LLM-based, or agentic product experiences (for example, copilots, recommendations, or automated workflows) is a strong plus, but not a strict requirement.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hybrid environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and experimentation.
  • Experience with AI and automation technologies.
