About the role

We are hiring a Product Manager to own and evolve our simulation product. This role sits at the intersection of deeply technical simulation capabilities and a platform-wide product experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with early customers and beta users to conduct deep discovery — understanding their workflows, pain points, and mental models at a high level of fidelity.
  • Translate that feedback into clearly scoped product requirements, not just a list of feature requests.
  • Own roadmap planning for the simulation product and communicate priorities across engineering, design, and customer stakeholders.
  • Serve as the internal bridge between the simulation team and the broader Revel platform, ensuring sim integrates seamlessly into the overall product experience.
  • Partner closely with design and front-end engineering to craft an experience that feels modern and intuitive without sacrificing depth.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations up and across the organization.
  • Advocate clearly for what you believe is right for the product, even when that means pushing back.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, or highly relevant adjacent experience.
  • Prior experience as a software or systems engineer.
  • Experience managing or contributing to a technically deep product — e.g., FEM/CFD simulation tools, CAD/3D modeling, robotics simulation, or electrical design tools.
  • Proven ability to conduct rigorous, high-fidelity customer discovery — not just collecting feature requests, but uncovering real user needs.
  • Experience operating in a "1 to N" product phase: taking an existing product through validation, integration, and scaled launch.
  • Strong cross-functional instincts and comfort working across engineering, design, and marketing.
  • Mission-driven mindset with strong ownership over outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Background in or strong familiarity with physics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Direct engineering experience working on simulation products or tools.
  • Experience simulating or operating systems in a fast-paced hardware testing environment.
  • Experience collaborating closely with a marketing function on a major product launch.
  • Experience at a technical-product organization building tools for engineers or scientists.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes.

Benefits

  • Health insurance.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Equity.
  • Life insurance.
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave.
  • Catered lunch.
  • Unlimited PTO.

Pay

Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.

Schedule

Full-time.
