Product Manager, Risk Solutions - USDS

About the Team

The USDS‑Platform and Community Integrity (PaCI) team is missioned to protect U.S. TikTok users—including and beyond content consumers, creators, advertisers—secure platform health and community experience authenticity, and build infrastructures, platforms, and technologies while collaborating with many cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. The PaCI team works to minimize the damage of inauthentic behaviors on TikTok platforms, covering multiple classical and novel community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti‑spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security and financial safety.

In this team you’ll have first‑hand exposure to the company’s strategy in key security initiatives, especially in building scalable, robust, intelligent, privacy‑safe, secure, and product‑friendly systems and solutions. The work is fast‑paced, transferable, and focused on making quick, solid differences.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building up risk control policy and process, promoting transparency and understanding of policies, and educating internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the construction and optimization of internal platforms and tools, and be responsible for their promotion.
• Develop user education programs to enhance user security awareness.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and reach agreements with others.
• Ability to maintain composure in critical situations and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven, and curious to learn and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in product management, ideally in the risk domain.
• Experience designing key metrics (KRI/KPI) and frameworks for risk functions, performing risk assessments, and developing strategies for risk control.
• Proven experience working with cross‑functional and engineering teams to develop solutions and communicate results effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and experience performing root‑cause analysis.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149,040 – $311,600 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package, which may also include discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
