Product Manager Principal, Tax Reporting Compliance

Our Tax Information Reporting Suite, including the Tax Reporting Manager and Fixed Income Cost Basis (FICB) solution, provides comprehensive tax reporting solutions for the financial services industry. We are seeking a Product Manager Principal, Tax Reporting Compliance, to bring regulatory expertise to product lifecycle planning, ensure quality delivery, and support client-facing activities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Solution Manager to develop the product roadmap, aligning with regulatory changes, market demands, and product line strategy.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards while shaping and implementing company policies that impact operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal compliance functions on behalf of the line of business.
- Interact regularly with senior management and executive levels on tax reporting products and client relationships.
- Contribute thought leadership through white papers and presentations for clients and the industry.
- Consult across business lines to develop product ecosystems with common tax reporting functionality.
- Support client-facing staff in responding to user inquiries and representing the business to corporate functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, accounting, taxation, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically, at least 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in product management.
- Working knowledge of tax information reporting requirements and associated products and processes.
- Proven track record of aligning strategic policies to organizational goals and compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Law degree with exposure to tax reporting regulations, white papers, and/or consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of FIS Tax Information Reporting products.

Pay
The pay range for this full-time position is $187,270.00 - $318,360.00, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries based on the role, level, and location. Actual starting pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
